DX4.2

The DX series digital professional power amplifier adopts high-efficiency power conversion CLASS-D topology circuit. They convert audio analogsignals into digital signals before amplification, The amplifying components of Class-D amplifiers operate in a switching mode; when there is nosignal input, the amplifieris in a cut-offstate and consumes no power, during operation, the input signal drives the transistors into a saturated state. At this point, the transistors act like closed switches, directly connecting the power supply to the load and converting it to output for driving theunit-achieving extremely high efficiency (ranging from 80%o to 98%o) as wellas energy conservation and environmental friendliness., This type ofamplification circuit is what we refer to as a Class-D amplifier.

Compared with traditionalanalog power amplifiers, ithas very distinctcharacteristics:

  • It features extremely high efficiency, with power conversion reaching up to 90%, and offers energy efficiency that traditional analog power amplifiers cannot match. This has thus changed the perception that audio power amplifiers are bulky, power-hungry, and large in size.
  • It has a long service life. Under the combined effect of its high-efficiency, low-power-consumption, and digital circuits, the reliability and safety of the power amplifier are significantly enhanced.
  • It has excellent transient response. It does not require the quiescent current consumption of traditional power amplifiers, and almost all energy is reserved for audio output. Additionally, without the constraints of analog amplification or negative feedback, it possesses superior transient response characteristics, resulting in richer and fuller sound details.
  • It has no phase shift across the entire frequency band and accurate sound field positioning. By adopting technologies such as digital ilters, the output cutoff requency is designed to be relatively high, thereby ensuring flat amplitude-frequency characteristics and excellent phase-frequency characteristics within the range of 20Hz to 20kHz.
  • It has strong anti-interference capability. Operating in a switching mode, it boasts better anti-interference performance, resulting in purer and clearer sound quality.
  • Compared with traditional analog power amplifiters, it is not only smaller in size and lighter in weight, but also features low power consumption, energy efficiency, and high conversion efficiency. More importantly, it boasts strong sound resolution and excellent sound reproduction capability.
  • It is equipped with the following protection functions: overload protection, overheating protection, short-circuit protection, distortion limiting, etc.
  • The front panel is made of aluminum alloy, and the overall chassis processing adopts CNC laser cutting technology.
  • It undergoes ICT testing, high-voltage testing, grounding testing, and vibration testing. The entire unit also undergoes a 24-hour aging test under load, and complete data is recorded through audio standard AP scanning.
