XT4.15

The XT series class TD professional amplifier (It usually refers to the Class D power amplifier that uses Tripath’s patented chip technology.) Its core feature is based on the high-efficiency architecture of Class D power amplifiers. It optimizes sound quality through unique modulation technology, balances efficiency and listening experience, and represents an optimized upgrade of Class D power amplifiers in terms of sound performance.

Its characteristics are as follows:

High Efficiency Energy Saving: It retains the essential switching amplification feature of Class D power amplifiers, with an energy conversion rate of 80% to 90%—far higher than the approximately 50% efficiency of Class AB power amplifiers. It also has low quiescent power consumption and generates little heat during operation, complying with energy-saving standards. Thus, it is suitable for long-term powered-on systems such as audio and video systems.

  2. Sound Quality Improvement: It adopts Tripath’s patented digital processing technologies (such as PWM, PDM or similar modulation methods), which reduce the switching distortion (SSD) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) of Class D amplifiers, and quickly track the transient response of audio signals. The optimized feedback control circuit and carefully designed filter significantly improve the total harmonic distortion (THD) and noise (N) in the mid-to-high frequency range, enabling accurate reproduction of audio signals. The listening experience is closer to that of high-quality Class AB analog power amplifiers, meeting the high requirements of professional audio systems for sound reproduction accuracy.
